Background Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurological disorder-behavior which is common among children, affecting their performance with respect to social, educational and family aspects. The main objective of this study was to investigate the effect of perceptual-motor exercises on improving the motor capabilities of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.Materials & Methods This research is a semi-experimental one. The study populations of the research were elementary boy students with ADHD living in Ilam City, Iran during the academic year 2012-2013. The sample consisted of 30 boy students who were of 7-12 years old with ADHD, which were examined according to DSM-IV criteria and Conner's questionnaire and selected as the case group undergone test motor development (Lincoln Oseretsky test). They were divided randomly into control and experimental groups. The experimental group received 24 sessions intervention. Posttest was performed for both groups. The obtained data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics, and independent t test through using SPSS version 13.Results The results showed that cognitive-movement exercise improved mobility problems of students with ADHD. Therefore it is recommended to increase the physical fitness of children with ADHD in schools and, thus for improving motor impairment, cognitive-movement training exercises be performed.Conclusion Based on research findings, it can be concluded that cognitive-movement exercises improves mobility problems of students with ADHD. Therefore, it is recommended that, to increase the physical fitness of children in schools and thus for improving their motor impairment, cognitive-movement training exercises be performed.

Background and Objective: Learning is regarded as one of the most important abilities of nervous system and without it the life of an individual disrupted. In fact, the learning process contributes to the organism so that it can adapt the ever – changing environment. Therefore, understanding the mechanisms involving in the learning and factors affecting on it is among the issues which have attracted the attention of many psychologists and neurologists. Motivation is one of the most important factors affecting learning and can relate evolving identity to learning. Methods and Materials: The present study is a nonexperimental design (correlation) that by using a structural model investigated the relationship between variables. Multi –stage sampling was used for selecting 1072 participants among Sabzevar and Neyshabour second grade high schools girl students. Three questionnaires were used: identity style scale ( ISI), goals achievement scale and motivational strategies for learning.(1) validity and reliability of the scales was tested by confirmatory factor analysis and composite reliability. Background and Purpose: The theory of Emotional Intelligence brings a new perspective on predicting factors influencing success as well as basic prevention of mental disorders. Evidences indicate that emotionally expert persons are distinctive in all areas. As students are prospective architects of the society, this study was intended to evaluate the relationship between emotional intelligence and general health in university students.
Methods and Materials: This descriptive research involved the statistical population of male and female undergraduate students at Sabzevar Teacher Training University, enrolled for the second semester of 2003-2004. Through successive sampling, 230 students were selected as the study sample. A researcher-made demographic questionnaire, a general health questionnaire and Mayer's Emotional Intelligence questionnaire were used for data collection. The obtained were analyzed using Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Determination Coefficient, simple Regression, Multiple Regression by step-by-step method, Hest and multi-variate ANOVA.
Results: The correlation between emotional intelligence and general health came up to be- 0.68. In other words, emotional intelligence can predict 46% of changes in general health. ANOVA results indicated that emotional repair was the best predictor of general health. Also, it was revealed that female students were of higher emotional intelligence; accordingly, male students enjoyed a better general health than female students.
Conclusion: Emotional intelligence is one of the promoting factors of general health and as well as a preventive factor in mental disorders. Therefore, emotional intelligence instruction is suggested to promote general health.
